We all say

Life was never meant to remain

we are feeding in assurance

To remain astray

And as we pray

We hope tomorrow still views us the same

We try and hide how we wish to abide

In days where we only reassure our whys

As we begin and as we end our day

And what’s in between

Is not there to stay

We cry inside

To hide the mourn we have for earth

Climate crisis catching fires

Hungry people dying starving

For their land that is worthy,

Unjustly

Is no longer their property.

We weakened our faith

but got it back as we earned

For as to God we are creations

That will with love,

a pleased return

We try to survive

Knowing the world has cried

And as it bleeds

We are just here to thrive

To make a change

We start so small

And as we go

We lose some souls

That die for pride

And will be waiting bold

In the end of time

When all flames are cold
